  There are numerous outfitters in Wyoming who can take you hunting or fishing. Hunt for elk, deer, moose, bear, goat and more wildlife. Every outfitter company is different. Many offer fishing trips to major rivers or mountain streams. Some offer horseback riding, overnight camping, wilderness pack trips, fly-fishing, chuckwagon dinners, private scenic river tours, backpacking trips and more. Its best to find an outfitter because they know the best places to fish or hunt. Its their business to know.

Game animals in Wyoming: antelope, elk, white-tail deer, mule deer, moose, black bear, grizzly bears, mountain sheep and more.

Game birds: grouse, pheasant, chukar, Hungarian Partridge, wild turkey and more.

Excellent trout fishing in streams and lakes. Other fish: sunfish, crappie, catfish and more.

Best Lakes for fishing: Flaming Gorge, Jackson, Fremont and Bighorn.

Best rivers for trout fishing (rainbow, cutthroat, brown and brook trout): Yellowstone, Madison and Firehole rivers.

You can find these animals most anywhere in the Wyoming wild but here are places you will be able to spot them more readily.

There is a large herd of wild horses. You can see them near Bighorn Canyon National Recreation area near Lovell or around the Red Desert near Rock Springs.

Big Horn Sheep can be found near Dubois in the Whiskey Mountain Habitat area.

At Yellowstone National Park, you can find elk, buffalo, moose, coyotes, deer, bighorn sheep, bear and more wildlife.

In the plains, you can find prairie dogs, antelope, deer and more.

A large population of pronghorn antelope are in the Tetons, Wind River range and Big Horn mountains.

There are many rafting companies that offer half day, full day and overnight rafting trips.
